Pure Citronella essential oil in your arsenal of essential oils is a must because of its ability to ward off mosquitoes and other annoying critters like fleas. Diffusing the oil in a controlled environment will not only improve the scent of the area but will go a long way to reduce the nuisance. Its aromatherapy uses extend to insect repellent blends, pet shampoos and natural flea treatments.
Citronella Essential Oil (Cymbopogon nardus) is part of the Poaceae or Gramineae family. Also known as Citronella Grass, Citronella Oil has a medium‐strength sweet, lemony-fresh aroma presenting a top‐middle fragrance note.
